Welcome to Academy Dog Training and Boarding Kennels, where owner and Head Trainer Tania Carron turns her lifelong passion for dogs into a dedicated mission. For Tania, running the kennels is more than just a job; it’s a commitment she made back in 2009 when she launched Academy Dog Training in her local area.

Growing up surrounded by dogs in her family’s successful Working and Training kennels, and nearly two decades of professional experience Tania proudly wears the hat of owner, operator and head trainer, embodying her motto everyday: ensuring every dog is happy and well cared for during their education and while their parents are away.

Academy Dog Training and Boarding Kennels stands out due to Tania's unwavering commitment to surpassing the status quo. Tania has invested time and resources into her clients and her business, personally meeting with each new client and their dog to ensure a thorough understanding of their needs and to assess if the pet is the right fit for the services offered.

“I have invested substantial time to provide my students with the most up-to-date, ethical, and science-based learning for their family companions. Achieving Instructor status for Canine Training and Obedience, Agility, Scentwork, and Trick-Training, along with membership in prestigious organizations such as the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and Behaviourists, Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor, ScentSport UK, Scentwork UK, and Scent Ops, reflects my commitment to excellence.

Beyond accolades, my background is enriched with helping dogs using evidence-based practical approaches to rebuild confidence and acclimate to their environment. In my free time, when I'm not advancing my skills, I enjoy competing with my own dogs in various dog sports such as Agility, Scentwork, Flyball, and earning Trick Titles.
